How We Work

We’ve been lucky enough to work on some really groundbreaking projects, and each month we’ll be taking a deep dive into a project we’ve worked on and shedding some light on our process.

Creating a Spoken Language for "Gods Will Fall"

This month we’re taking a look at how WeMakeAudio worked with Clever Beans and Deep Silver to create a bespoke Celtic-inspired language for the game Gods Will Fall.

From scripting and voice casting all the way through to recording and adding to the game, we designed an immersive language that truly brought the game’s world to life.

Who We Work With

At WeMakeAudio, we’ve collaborated with some incredibly talented people - from major brands to studios and publishers.

This month, we’re spotlighting game studio Strange Horizons, who approached us to direct the audio for their game Outerstellar. We loved working with on this project, from creating the atmospheric weather system for a hostile planet, to the visceral creature sounds, to an arsenal of weapons!

Here’s what studio director Noel Austin had to say about the experience:

"We worked with WeMakeAudio extensively on our last project. It was an ambitious multiplayer shooter made with a very small team and WeMakeAudio delivered fantastic results. Their experience really showed, and they brought lots of recommendations to elevate the result well above initial expectations. All aspects of sound design were handled by WeMakeAudio and I would not hesitate to recommend WeMakeAudio or use them in our next project." - Noel Austin, Director

What We’re Listening to

Every month we highlight some work that we find inspiring. From new tech, to new  discoveries in sound and music.

This month we really enjoyed the short documentary Annea Lockwood / A Film About Listening: An intimate and inspiring portrait of pioneering experimental composer Annea Lockwood, offering a fascinating glimpse into her world of sound.
